I took Cymbalta b/f I began the Wellbutrin I am on now. I took 60 mg and took it in the morning to help combat the insomnia. Still had to take Xanax at night to help get a little sleep. The only side effect I had that was hard to deal with was the dry mouth and the insomnia which never went away. My dr. finally changed me to Wellbutrin and I'm ok on it. I was originally put on Cymbalta for 2 reasons. Chronic nerve damage pain and depression with lack of energy. Maybe some chronic fatigue was invovled but both meds have help that. I have felt more like my old self since I was started on the Cymbalta, and though I am not on it any longer, I would recommend it especially if you have chronic pain or depression with lack of energy and anxiety to boot.
