Opiates and 'Man's best friend'

Does anyone know if I can mix tramadol with morphine sulphate for my little dog okydoky in PAIN? Vet seems not to want to talk. I plan on calling another vet but I am not sure how far I will get.
His relief would provide a great deal of relief for me.
