Yeah, Tianeptine does seem more popular here in 2008. Years ago it was taboo to import meds, but these days it is more widely accepted. There must be some credence to the mention of Tianpetine besides that though, because if there were more negative reports than positive ones then there wouldn't be as many people trying it. It happens to be next on my list.
Other than that, I have seen trends over the years here where certain meds or combos get a lot of press for a while, kind of like a trend, and then fade away. Effexor+remeron was big at one time for example. And whenever a new med comes out. In the USA, Tianeptine fits the profile of a new med, even though it isn't one.
