I am glad you told the doctor.
Like I said my son's doctor saw he monthly and always asked about this.
It is not worth it too risk your health, mental or physical. My daughter who will not take accuntane as she is fearful of the risks to unborn children although she is years away from having them, hopefully, is taking other medication for her skin and is having success with. Not as fast as accutane but successful nonetheless.
She is on antibotics (as she has a bacteria on her skin), and a cream to help clear her skin up and it is working. Her skin looks lovely. The only draw back is the bacterial issue reoccurs from time to time and she has to go back on the antibotics. Not too much of a big deal though.
Take care, and I hope you get through this withdrawal easily. Go to pyschology board if you need to talk about how you feel during the withdrawal period of accutane.

we are all here to listen.
