Thanks for the welcome! Yes, it's my first time here. I take cymbalta for major depression which was first diagnosed about 14 years ago. Personally, cymbalta has been pretty good to me. (By the way - I do fear ever getting off the stuff after reading about withdrawal). I was on zoloft for a while before cymbalta, and if it weren't for the sexual side effects and weight gain I experienced, I would have continued with it. I had a short run of Lexipro in between and did not like the utter lack of motivation I felt when I was on that. Not to mention, I didn't feel it helped my depression.

Anyhow, I forgot about how cymbalta is being used to treat fibro patients and the pain-relieving benefits it can provide. Perhaps I should then stick with it! Your right, I am out of shape (I had broken both my feet and had a long rehabilitation back to normal ... cymbalta helped with that, too, I think).

I guess I was just wondering if anyone on this board had exercised both pre- and post- cymbalta and if they had any experiences to share. Thanks so much for your responses!
