That's for your private and very good use of time.
Well I won't post links so there will be no problem I'll just stick to my one liners easier that way with always and I feel attached to it or in my experience.
Jan, now you're denigrating yourself. I post things from the net but I usually don't post entire articles -- for one, some of the articles have pictures and things that would be missed here in pure text. I may not get completely anal and use footnotes, but I might say that an article in the Journal of something noted that ... etc.
But it was my experience that patients were admitted with one diagnosis and it was most often than not changed. And They would come in on one med and leave on lots more. But that is my experience only the copyright thing wasn't a problem either when I did malpractice. I was told by the lawyers to gather all info and maybe change one word and then it's not the same. So I can also do that right? I'm only trying to understand.
Yes, but the board rules do have things about posting complete articles to some extent. This has nothing to do with your work... and I'm not being a nanny about the board rules, I think that there's plenty of leeway and I do take offense to some of the slicing and dicing of them which sometimes drives me away from the board, but that's a subject for administration.
My point I guess is that yes -- there's fair use... "...25% of blah......etc.... paragraph 1....2...." but a whole article is not so much to me about copyright, its about not digesting the article into smaller pieces and explaining your perception of it.
This isn't pile on Jan day -- please, I know you're depressed, if you're depressed, I'm completely under water at the moment... so in my observations I may have hurt you unintentionally. Go ahead and post some excerpts of things that you think are worth talking about -- you don't need to have "one liners".
If I hurt you, I'm sorry, I was just noticing that perhaps in your excitement of discovering a new web site there was some zeal to post articles and rather than that, why not pieces of them and discuss what you feel about them ?No hard feelings meant.
Phillipa would have answered earlier but was posting my stuff on ebay. And no need to apologize for your livelihood either, its undermines your own self-esteem. It can take me several days sometimes to get back to something online here, and that's why I think its more realistic if you made a goof to wait a few days before one says "please be civil".
I wish you could also correct your postings like on boards run by vBulletin and the like, but whatever -- like I said that's my beef for the administration board.
-- best wishesJay
