I'm on day 3 of tianeptine, added to my current regimine of 80mg parnate, 2.5mg abilify, and 450mg lithium.
Just wanted to let people know that there hasn't seemed to be any negative interactions with tianeptine and parnate, and tianeptine had an immediate positive impact on anxiety, felt like a small dose of xanax, but with no sedation.
We'll see if the trial continues to be positive, but I just can't seem to ignore all the amazing anti-stress and neurotrophic things tianeptine uniquely does (see tianeptine.com), and combining it with parnate isn't necessarily advised, but so far, is safe.
However, tianeptine may have a longer-acting pro-serotonin element, so I am watching for serotonin syndrome symptoms. I should note that I also take 1mg of Tryptophan on occasion with parnate and that doesn't seem to be a problem either. But I did just recently increase my dose to 80 from 60, so things could always change.
Taking risks, but necessary ones. This depression has just lasted far too long and taken way too many things from my life.
My agomelatine should arrive soon also. Intend to add it on to my current regime.
