But i was just really determined. and then it took a week to 'gather my energy' so to speak for the next time. A few weeks later and i was basically back to normal. Four months, thats a long time! It was especially annoying as right before i had been taking selegiline, which sucked as an antidepressant, but was great for libido.

You're telling me... 4 months is foreverrrrr! And now I'm afraid if I increase my dose is it going to go away again? I can deal with every other single side effect, but not that one. I mean, I guess I have to, but it's by far the only one that really matters! I've been lucky and really haven't had any other side effects besides the sedation. Hopefully that goes away over time though.Concerning whether or not cyproheptadine works for women, I did some research both on this board and on the internet prior to ordering it, and this is some of what I found:
On http://www.ashp.org/mngrphs/essentials/a382541e.htm, "Cyproheptadine has been effective for the management of inhibited male or female orgasm induced by tricyclic antidepressants, MAO inhibitors, and..."
I'm crossing my fingers! Should be here in a few days.
