Meds are weird, so you can throw all predictions out the window. Some people get sex back shortly after reducing or stopping an offending med, some it takes weeks or months, some it never comes back. Wellbutrin, though known to be pro-sex, can also be anti-sex for some people. Like me. It was bad. You can't predict anything just on a reputation or someone else's experience.
There is no need to wait to try the ED meds. I am only familiar with viagra. 100mg is a lot. 50mg does a good job even with med induced sexual dysfunction, usually, not always. Just cut the pill in half. It is a wise thing to do anyway to feel out the side effects (for me, a blueish tint in vision and sometimes a slightly stuffy nose, both of which tell me it is kicked in and ready, and a headache when I wake. I usually take ibuprofen at when retiring to prevent the waking headache. Anyway, test it at a lower dose for the sake of side effects.
Tricks to get maximum power:
1. Avoid eating for 3 hours prior. The last meal should have very little or not fat in it. Take the pill on a stomach that has no competition.
2. Chew the pill, and as soon as it is broken into pieces park the mess under the tongue. It has an odd taste, but not offensive. Let it stay for 3 minutes or so. It gets straight into the bloodstream that way without any loss in the stomach process. It will absorb through the tissues under the tongue and in the gums and cheeks. When done, swallow with maybe an inch or two of water in a glass.
3. While waiting for the med to do its work, focus on something that should be arousing...photos, magazines, porn, whatever. Maybe due to the meds they aren't usually arousing, but it helps to get things out of the rut. Between the forced arousal and the Viagra, something should begin to spark.
4. Or, go to bed with partner but plan on not doing anything except naked leisure or foreplay for at least 45 minutes. That is enough time to allow a naked body to begin looking desirable, enough time to fantasize, and enough time to allow relaxation without any pressure. Avoid pressure because it works against you. Take your time.
5. While the instructions say the med begins to work in 20 minutes, I have found the most potent time is about 1 hour after dosing. It stays good for 3 hours or so even if you miss the original time.
6. A candle helps, maybe with some tinfoil wrapped around it with just a little space at the top for some light to come out...dark, but just enough light to see the outlines of nakedness. And some background white noise, such as a fan, to block out anything distracting such as breathing, cars, whatever.
Generic Viagra made overseas is available all over the internet. Super easy to get in a google search.
Odd, but the best sex enhancers I've tried were low dose Abilify (2mg once every 3 days...it has a very long halflife), and LDN (low dose Naltrexone 1.5mg at bedtime every night). Most of the supposed pro-sex things for me were not much good.
