Are you sure thats how trazadone works?
wiki lists it as "trazodone's antidepressant effects may be due to its antagonistic effects at 5-HT2 receptors.[3][citation needed]"

Alpha 1 effects smooth muscle contraction, nothing to do with neurotransmitters.. alpha 2 inhibits neurotransmitters which is how mirtazapine works.
