Hi...thanks for your answer ;-)

Yeah, it's what I experience right now. If I devide my dose in 10mg AM and 10mg before 3 PM, I feel really tired behind the two doses and after the last dose also. At night I have to be very motivated to do something, and often, like last night where I was suppose to go out with a friend, I just call him and cancel what we plan to do and I stay home watching TV...but strangely, I don't sleep well at night, I continue to have insomnia, even if I felt tired all night long...like I will fall asleep always.

If I take the 20mg in one time, I feel very energic for 3 hours, I can do 5 things at the same times without lacking the energy...but after I feel really tired as hell (remember me the time I was on Cipralex...always tired, like I work for 20 hours in a row) and the rest of the day is hard to finish without having to do a LONG nap in the afternoon...

For the side-effects, it's seem to fade away with time. I don't feel now the "panic" and the anxiety I had the first day at 20mg. I don't take my blood pressure like I was doing before...Too much is like not enought no?...and I stop watching what I eat, I just avoid cheese...for the rest I don't care. I even eat a couple of times some protein podwer with creatine inside without having a hypersensitive reaction. I plan to do a strict diet after the christmas period so it will be helpfull since I just can loose weight only if I do a strict diet (by-pass surgery history).

Anyway, I think all the side effects I had the first day at 20mg was related to my general anxiety problem, I can't find the button to shut off my brain!!! lol

I like the energic feeling of the Parnate when I take the 20mg in one dose. And like you write in your message, it's similar to the speed or at least an amphetamine effect. Speed and exctasy make me feel really anxious...yeah, I try both of them, I admit it and i'm not shy of this. I had a crazy experience of 6 hours of panic attacks in a row on them, back in 2005. I had big waves of anxiety, I was able to feel the panic attacks comming...and in my head I was like (Ho no, not again, I will do another panic attack...lol). I was completly exhausted after this experience and it was the last time I take street drugs of my life...

Anyway, the effect of 20mg of Parnate in one shot remember me the little boost of a 15mg of Ritalin, without the anxiety feeling and the moist hands and feets. I imagine that at the 60mg dose target, I will have to devide my dosage in 3x20mg...I will try to take 20mg when I wake up, 20 mg after luch time and 20mg before the diner... I don't care about the 3 PM hours limit and insomnia problem, cause I already don't sleep a lot and i'm use to sleep even if I drink a lot of coffee at night... My insomnia is related to my anxiety...I fall asleep fast but I wake up too much early and I begin to think about a lot of things in my head and I can't fall asleep again and I can't stay in my bed, I need to move, so I open my laptop, I open facebook, take my emails, make some laundry...things like that. I think i'm more productive at 5 AM than at 5PM !!! lol

Anyway, I have to stay at 20mg until december 31. My new psychiatrist is very strict on the dose, and give me a prescription with the exact count of pills I need until I meet him again the 14 january. Normally I will increase my dosage more faster than this but well, with him it seem that I will not able to do this...

I have one question for you...Did you feel a little bit of hypotension already at 30mg? Like when you climb the stairs or when you get up fast??? I have hypotension problem since I increase the dose at 20mg... I had this problem on 90mg of Nardil only...

My psychiatrist told me that the Parnate was causing less hypotension effects than Nardil...but for what I experienced at day 4 on 20mg of Parnate proove me that is not right about this fact. I have a prescription filled with a drug for the prevention of hypotension, I don't remember the name of that particulaf drug but I think I will have to begin to take it more soon that I Was thinking...It's the reason why I ask you this question, maybe at 30mg it will be worst for hypotension?. I hope not...

Well thanks again for sharing your experience with me ;-) And again, sorry if I write a LONG text for nothing...

Have a good day ;-)
