After hearing of the failure of moclobemide as a successful antidepressant, I changed my mind and I am on Ixel [Milnacipran] again. This time 100 mg daily (50mg twice daily)
I am already on Provigil and Wellbutrin (400mg and 150mg respectively)
This is the second day on Ixel but I am moody. Nothing enthrals me. Lost interest in everything. There was some motivation left while I was on Provigil, but Ixel turned it upside down. I feel moody, very moody and uncreative on second day.
Is this a start up side effect that would go away by time and be replaced with good mood and motivation? Ixel being noradrenergic is supposed to activate, but I am beaten by it. No activation, but I feel like doing nothing but just staying in the bed thinking and thinking whether to continue this stuff or throw away?
No problem of dysuria at all. But if this is the mood I am going to gain after suffering two, three weeks on this medication, oh boy.. I do not want this at all. I need exact opposite of what I am feeling on the second day on this med. Is it possible for this moodiness to go away and be replaced with happiness and motivation?
How long this agony? How long it takes to have an effect?
