Hi:
'What are my options for sleep if I want to try Wellbutrin?'
-------------------------
In my case, Zyprexa 5 mg. and Trazodone, both of which is minimum dosage goes well with Wellbutrin. I have Bipolar II, but much better after 10-11 years with a good med. combo. One thing you need to remember is that Wellbutrin causes 'insomnia' if you're taking before the bed, ... even two or three hours before. Then, you need to practice taking Wellbutrin divided two or three times a day and yourlast dosage is to be during evening, ... preferrably 4 hours before going to bed. Otherwise, you're not able to sleep that makes you tired and irritable the next day.
WB offers 'boosting energy' because of 'stimulant effect' while other med. like Remeron giving you calming effect that brings you a good nite-sleep.
To me, it sound a good combo., but talk to your pdoc., if you're not feel any benefit even one month later on them.
