I'm actually scheduled to see a dietitian tomorrow - per my mom's request - just to make sure I receive a comprehensive nutritional base within the MAOI diet restrictions. Are you on an MAOI at the moment? For me there's two components to the food S/E: Either I'll feel plainly ravenous, as I mentioned in my first post; or I'll get hypoglycemic-like symptoms (light-headedness, sugar cravings). One post I found mentioned the latter arises because Nardil disrupts the livers ability to synthesize glucose or something. Anyway, does metamucil just reduce the hunger? Or can it help with the sugar cravings as well?
