In reply to NARDIL dose TIMING (? for nardil champs and vets), posted by myco on January 22, 2009, at 21:20:48

> I've been pretty vigilant at taking my 60mg of nardil at the same times everyday (30mg 9:30am, 15mg 2:30pm, 15mg 8:30pm). I just got a dose increase to 75mg and then the ok to go on to 90mg if it doesn't work well. I understand that timing of dose is patient dependant but has anyone noticed a difference when they moved the timing of the doses and combinations around? Care to share what timings/dosages you've tried and the effect on mood etc. My dr recommended 45mg morning then 45mg night for the 90mg dose...I plan on just adding the extra 15mg to go from 60 to 75 in the afternoon....do you think it would make much diff if any? I do tend to get more of a response dip in the afternoon though. 60mg nardil worked really well for 2 weeks then quit (or became quite subtle) for weeks 3 and 4...i'm hoping dose timing may give a kick back response in case it quits again.

> 75mg nardilI have tried all sorts of dosing arrangements with Nardil. My experience is that it doesn't really matter how you take it. The last time I took 90mg, I divided it 45mg morning and night. I have also dosed 30mg t.i.d. with the last dose being around 3:00pm. This was effective for me also.
Are you experiencing any insomnia?
