When I first tried a combination of Parnate + desipramine, my heart rate was 120. I really didn't notice it after awhile. I considered the payoff to be worth it. The metabolite of Seroquel and desipramine share the property of NE reuptake inhibition. Tachycardia should be more noticeable at 200mg than at 100mg, but it probably won't get any worse once you reach 400mg. Hopefully, after some time your rate will come down, but will still be somewhat elevated.
Let us know at what dosage your heart rate plateaus. Maybe it won't go any higher than it is now.
