Pristiq vs. Effexor effectiveness

Anyone had experience with both Pristiq and Effexor? Looking for comments in terms of effectiveness, and length of time before you felt an effect.

So far I'm at 100mg of Pristiq, doesn't feel as effective as 300mg of Effexor, and EFfexor always kicked in within 2 weeks. I'm at 2.5 on Pristiq and I still feel like sh*t.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm really struggling here :(
