Hi Relapse,
May I ask why you want to bail on Seroquel? 200mg is kind of high to induce sleep isn't it? I only take 25mg...you can afford to lower the dose and augment with something else for sleep can't you?
Traz is a good option. Wasnt for me on nardil though...sucked at 25mg then 50mg no sleep and uncomfy, seratonin syndrome-like (unconfirmed by doc), feelings.
I prefer the natural approach for most augmentation if I can (many herbals/supplements for sleep out there - some are actually good). This is why i'm persuing L-Tyrosine. I hope (not sure if my logic is correct though) it will "boost" (lack of better word) DA. It also boost NE but thats unneeded by me I think. According to what i've read seroquel "lowers" (i think?) DA and SE. So tyrosine should, in theory I hope, up the DA that seroquel is "taking away". Then I would add something like tryptophan or 5-htp for the added boost in SE from seroquel's messing with it. I'm not sure if all this thinking here is correct. wish someone would weigh in here *nudge nudge*.
Anyone know of an rx med for this augmentation strategy here? somebody? anybody? lol

> Several articles coming in concerning AstraZeneca hiding information. I know quite a few people here take it. I take 200mg for sleep. myco had some great information concerning the possibility of a counterproductive strategy using an sri and and a atyp. antipsychotic. I really would like to get off this one. I may ask my pd about Trazodone to work with with my sri for the calming effect/sleep.
