There has been numerous discussions I've seen of people trying to split capsules; the trouble is that you don't know the beads are uniform.
Yes, it is possible, but as for all medications I would probably be careful about biting beads, at the least they would be unpalatable and bitter. If you're putting them in food I would bury them in applesauce or something because they're bound to be yucky.
However, it doesn't seem as bad as the riskier proposition of dividing things such as Cymbalta so it probably wouldn't cause that much of a side effect.-- Jay
