I think it IS the rebound of Adderall. Checked out some ADD forums today. With the exception of driving in my car-it doesn't happen though until after it wears off, and others report the same. I didn't take it for 2 days (or was it 3? all the days run together), and the chest tightness/breathing issues went away.
Felt good when I got up today..then later I ate a bunch of garlic (yum?) because its good for blood pressure-well I put it in the hummus I made with the b-l-e-n-d-e-r (hi 10derheart) then I walked 3 miles-fastwalking-walk. I'm going to take just 1 does now so I can get some work done. I got up at 6 am and still unproductive w/o it-there are all these missing gaps in time. I hardly did anything today and its already almost 9. I tried to work, put the paper down, get distracted, pick it back up for 2 mintues, put it back down, run downstairs for laundry, get back to computer and grab highlighter marker to edit, stop, check email, check forum, pick paper back up...run to store...get mail...grr
So if it happens again, I'll probably have to quit taking it...another script to add to the piles of pills I throw away. :(
Oh-and my PDocRN told me you are supposed to throw them away by dissolving them in water w/coffee grounds then throw them in the yard. I never knew that. I mean, does it make our drinking water and environment safer by having them leech in the backyard instead of a big garbage dump???
Still, I don't know if buspirone will be sufficient for anxiety. Anxiety symptoms had suddenly stopped a week before i starting taking this drug, and I guess the test will be when I'm under multiple pressures again/stress. I think the asthma like symptoms triggered the anxiety attacks as opposed to a psychological manifestation..so the Adderall will have to go if this continues.
I almost went out and bought St Johns Wort today but changed my mind. Still haven't yet decided what to do--besides daily exercise.
