GREAT QUESTION!!!

You must first rule-out a bipolar manic reaction.

If mania or hypomania are ruled out, then what you are now feeling is, in my experience, perfectly normal.

You are finally without the social inhibition that kept you from being assertive in the past. Now that you find yourself with more intense and self-assured emotions, you must begin to find a balance between them. Remember, anger is not an emotion that you have had much need to deal with in the past. You don't yet have the tools to manage this anger. Yes, you might be aggressive. You might have to discipline yourself not to act on this anger impulsively. Eventually, you will find that fewer and fewer things trigger this anger.

Irritability is sometimes one of the first signs that someone is emerging out of depression.
