hi mogger--
i take lamictal, too, mostly as a mood stabilizer. i take 200mg twice a day. i don't think it's really a very good mood stabilizer; like you said, it's better for depression. honestly, i have no idea what lamictal does for serotonin, but my impression is that there is probably not much added advantage over the 200mg threshold. in particular, since you take lamictal with zoloft, i would think you could get away with lowering your lamictal dose as long as everything with the zoloft is stable.
