> I'm sorry that the Seroquel didn't work out for you. I am guessing that the irritability comes from the pro-noradrenergic properties of the metabolite. Not all NE reuptake inhibitors are created equal. Desipramine has never made me feel worse. Reboxetine left me in an anxious suicidal state for over a week before I decided to discontinue it. I was okay within 36 hours. Atomoxetine is almost worthless as an antidepressant.
