hey, I've been thinking about you. Have you ever had a full thyroid panel done? I'm not an expert--someone like maybe Phillipa can tell you what to have tested. I do know to test for anti-bodies. I was always subclinical--so no one wanted to treat me. Well, it turns out I had Hashimoto's disease for, probably, years.
another piece to think about if you already haven't.
