Buspar making me anxious?

I began taking buspar (the generic form) about 4-5 weeks ago. Initially I thought it was helping, but that may have just been psychological. My question is, has anyone here actually had buspar make you more on edge and irritable? That's what's happened to me.

I am taking 20 mg/day
