> Effexor Side Effects Report #5656705-8
> Health Professional from SWITZERLAND reported EFFEXOR problem on Mar 03, 2008. Female patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with depression and was treated with EFFEXOR. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, . EFFEXOR dosage: 150 + 300 MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with SURMONTIL, SEROQUEL. Patient died on 10/05/2006People spontaneously develop tachychardia and ventricular fibrillation. If such an even occurred in someone who was not taking Effexor, would you conclude that it was caused by not taking Effexor?
I hope not. But that argument cuts both ways.
There is not causative link shown here. There is coincidence. But you cannot generalize from this incident, nor establish any sort of a pattern from one data point.
