To the best of my knowledge I believe III-V substances can be done here by some fax/telephone method. I don't know about other parts of the US.
Schedule II substances I'm not sure about whether faxed prescriptions are sufficient or whether it would have to be overnighted or carried in by the individual.
I do know that tamper proof prescription pads are now required for scheduled substances.
In general, a regular non scheduled prescription may require a DOB on your script, a scheduled is required a DOB, and the patients address.
Laws are tightening in the US, and are affecting genuine verified US online pharmacies.
I think that there are a bit too much restrictions going on and that this society is becoming controlled to the point of idiocy.
It also places more burden on doctors and they are taking more and more precautions with the DEA breathing down licenses.
I also am not making light of people who are faking/selling oxycontin on the street. That's a different story.
