I made the mistake of getting off a medication one time because I thought it wasn't helping. I realized later that I felt normal and I was functioning and I needed to do other things to take care of depression/anxiety. I know many here will agree with me, but I just don't believe in the "poop out". I just don't think it happens as much as people think. If you have depression but you are still functioning and working out or able to do other things you enjoy, never get off your med just because you are feeling more depressed or anxious.
