Too tired to give my full history..I was on Zoloft for years. I felt great if I did the right things. Actually, compared to now, I felt amazing most of the time. I stupidly got off Zoloft 2 years ago and 5 months later had a major major mixed episode that landed me in the hospital. In the past year I've been on 11 different medications. For 4 months last year I tried zoloft again. I ended up feeling ok once I dropped the klonopin. I look back and think that I felt better than I realized at the time. The thing is, I have not felt that great or stable on mood stabilizers or antidepressants since my little pandora's box has been opened.
Currently, I'm on lithium and Celexa. I was on Lamictal and have gone through severe fatigue and other issues since getting off. I have no problem staying on Lithium even though I have yet to feel very good on it. I just cut Celexa in half because I think it is not doing the trick for my depression and may be making some things worse.
So, I'm very interested in Parnate and Nardil. I'm wondering, do you guys have to watch what you eat and drink? Also, if I reacted well to one of these, would I be able to workout the way I used to? I'm already concerned about lithium keeping me from having the intense workouts I used to have.
I'm really just curious to hear overall experiences with these 2 medications. And, I'm wondering if anyone with bipolar is taking either of these.
