No Phillipa Levoxyl is the brand name.
"Levoxyl® is indicated for thyroid hormone replacement or supplemental therapy for hypothyroidism. Levoxyl® is contraindicated in patients with untreated thyrotoxicosis, acute myocardial infarction, uncorrected adrenal insufficiency, or hypersensitivity to any of its inactive ingredients. Levoxyl® is protected by U.S. Patent Number 6,555,581"Levoxyl is the brand name for levothyroxine. There are other manufacturers that make a generic for Levoxyl. This is from the PI sheet and my endo. It is only T4. There are other brands of dessicated thyroid medications that Armour is only one brand name. All of which contain T3/T4 combo.
Does that help?
