Wow. It's stories like yours that have convinced me to no longer endorse ECT as a treatment.
Thanks for adding the additional predisposing factors that might have increased your risks for ECT cognitive damage.
I'm sorry that this had to happen to you.

I had 2 treatments per week instead of the typical 3 per week, and still I ended up with documented damage per neuropsychological testing. I am just now starting rehab. I was diagnosed with ECT coghnitive decline. Parnate worked for me in the past but the pdoc wanted me to do ECT.
