Go ahead and satisfy the cravings. You don't need to fight them off. The catch is...you gotta feed them the right stuff...raw veggies, lots of them, fruits, more purified water, fewer or zero bread-based things (burgers in buns, pizzas, etc). Treat yourself to half of a candy bar per day.
Sounds hard I know. It is for a month or so. I know, I've done it and still do. The weird thing is, the cravings eventually go away and you actually prefer your new foods over the ones you used to crave. And, surprise surprise, you feel better all around too. There is a lot of science behind why this happens, but that is another story.
Feed the cravings good stuff.
