Keep trying. That you responded so well to paroxetine leads me to believe that you have the capacity to respond to something else - or even the same drug with untried adjuncts.
I am currently having success with:
Parnate 80mg
nortriptyline 150mg
Lamictal 200mg
Abilify 20mg
lithium 300mg
How did you respond to this combination?
