I was on remeron for a few years in the past. I felt like it robbed me of myself. I am still trying to repair relationships that were hurt by me being on the drug. It made my OCD worse, made me angry and I would punch things (not people) when I got angry. I stayed on it for sleep only and that was a very bad idea. Towards the end of being on it it made depression much worse. Getting off was hell too. If you want to look in the archives on remeron withdrawal you will find that many people had a very hard time getting off of it. Good luck.
