You'll be too numb to care.I found Effexor to be of help, and I never felt numb nor apathetic while taking it. I don't recall being numb on any of the SSRI/SNRI drugs with the possible exception of Zoloft. I don't think that numbness is guaranteed to occur with these drugs.
