I should note that there aren't more than a handful of studies dedicated to examining these things, and that more intensive investigations are required to corroborate them and to establish firm associations and elucidate the mechanisms that might be responsible for these observations.

I would still not hesitate to use an SRI if it were the only drug that I would respond to. If it comes down to it, I would mix Pristiq with nortriptyline.
