thanks SLS. im curious about your situation. every time I search the archives it seems like you had the ideas I have now. I going to get a cortisol test, along with all the other hormones that are necessary.
I was wondering, did you ever try a "cortisol inhibitor", if so what was it like? Did you ever get a hormone test? If so what were the results?
I feel like we might have a lot of simalarites.. Im very treatment resistant and I am responding to meds outside of the psych meds.
I am a psychiatrists hardest case. I am mixed bipolar depression (caused by some other disease? cushings? addisons like diseases), along with insulin resistance/ blood sugar problems (maybe? due to my huge response to metformin).
I have such a unique situation, its hard for anyone to understand, espically on these boards.
Its so complicated sometimes I think people wont believe me.
And its hard for me to explain because Im pretty grandiose thinker so I exaggerate and feel like Im cured alot.
There are so many many factors which play into a balanced recovery for me. I dont lke ANY of the psych meds Ive been on. ANY AT ALL. NONE. maybe lamictal, but that activated a psychosis type thing in me. I do ask myself alot if I am being too picky, but in the end none of these meds are a good solution.
looking forward to your response, sam
