Equetro anyone?

I have never heard of this drug that my doc mentioned to me, but after looking on the bottle it says extended release carbamazepine (Tegrotol)?
Does anyone use Equetro or Tegrotol as a mood stabilizer? How much? Does it keep you from getting too low?
I'd be interested in your experiences. I've never taken this before.
Do you combine it with any other drugs?
