* The flushing you experienced was likely a common reaction to vitamin B3 - Niacin. It opens all the small superficial capillaries near the surface of the skin. Scared me to death the first time it happened to me! And like you, it doesn't take much to get that response for me - 25mg is enough. Quite often though a B Complex or multi-vitamin will contain 50-100mg Niacin.
