Thanks for the suggestion Jane. He discounted OSA since I'm not overweight and he said that that is almost always the case with OSA. He also discounted central sleep apnea on the basis that it is very, very rare. Not the most scientific of rationale but I'm willing to go with it.
He did give me a referral to an ENT specialist if I want to have it looked at further.
I'm just beginning to think that there's nothing seriously wrong, it's just that Nardil puts me into a deeper/different sleep where I snore more loudly and frequently.
