>That sounds highly, highly unlikely. If there was an interaction, it would most likely occur during the peak blood level, and hydrocodone peaks at slightly over an hour after taking it. The half life of hydrocodone is about 4 hours. Hydrocodone has at least one active metabolite, but I believe they are all similar in effect to hydrocodone.
If you could not take narcotic painkillers with MAOIs, that would be a serious consideration when taking them, because what if you were in a car accident and in excrutiating pain?
