Dysphoria is such a generic generalized term, I am not sure what you mean by that. Dysphoria probably means different thing to different people.

I kept telling my doctor for months I felt so dysphoric. He asked what I meant. I said, well, toxic, poisoned, not well, but not sick, just well, I feel bad, not really sad, just yuck.

I didn't know at the time I had Lyme disease.

I also feel dysphoria when I start any antipsychotic. They just make me feel...bad.

I don't know what you mean by dysphoria. It's hard to know what to consider in addressing it without knowing how you would describe it.

No matter what the cause of dysphoria or the individual description of it, the only sure-fire immediate fix I have ever encountered is Vicadin. Obviously not a longterm solution, or even a short term solution. But a surefire winner once in a while as a single isolated dose.

Most people haven't heard of it, but in my experience a good treatment for general undefined mysterious dysphoria is low dose Naltrexone...1.5mg at bedtime. (has to be made at a compounding pharmacy since the doses are so small...so small they are even very difficult to make at home from a 50mg tab) Excellent longterm remedy for dysphoria.
