Hi FB

Parnate never made me tired in the day. At night, it would give me very bad insomnia as you will remember. I used to take something to help me sleep but I guess everything has balanced in my body and I no longer take a sleep aid.

What I like about Parnate is that it allow me to feel. I get sometimes and cry, I can happy or angry. On other meds I was just numb, unable to experience any emotion.

I'm on 80 mg and I think I might need a higher dose. My depression is coming back and it has been a few weeks now that I haven't been feeling as well as I did before. I am going to email my pdoc for his opinion.

The diatary restriction don't bother me becuse most of the stuff I wouldn't eat anyway except for cheese. I LOVE my cheese. So I eat cheese and haven't had a reaction yet.

I've combined the 80 mg of Parnate with 75 mg of Nortriptyline and two go every well together.

I would rate Parnate as an A1 med. Best of luck to you!
