Hi Gerry:
I've been on Parnate for 9 months now. It's been a roller coaster ride with my immune system, but there are benefits from it I haven't gotten from any other drug. I'm down to 30mg/day from a high of 80mg/day. I hope I can stay at 30mg.
My pdoc has always told me to take it however it makes sense to me. He says some patients take it all in the AM, some take it all in the PM, some spread it out. If it's not a big deal to you, spread it out to twice a day. I take mine half in the AM and half at l or 2pm. It hinders my sleep if I take it too late in the day. Now that I'm only taking 30mg I may take it all in the AM. I think Maxime takes all her 80mg in the morning. So I think you can take yours any time you think it's best for you.
I'm so happy to hear Parnate is working so well for you! Some people are on it 25-30 years and it keeps working great for them! (I haven't gotten to the vacuuming part yet, I'm impressed!)
Please keep writing. It's so good to hear a success story!
