> Willey- I knew you mentioned this was on your list-- did you try it? Did anyone else try it? I think it's what I'm about to start if we can't find anyone to prescribe the Cytomel/T3 and I would love to hear some good things about it! (or to also hear if it didn't work for you)
I have indeed tried Mirapex. It was in combination with other therapies including 50mg of nortriptyline and a very small amount of citalopram (less than 10mg) I was actually on it for quite awhile - almost one year - and it was very interesting. At times it to provide the drive and interest that has been missing for so many years and there were also flashes of joy in there. That has been missing for years and years.y It also seemed to produce a robust anxiolytic effect. Eventually though, I started experiencing swollen aching joints, bouts of rage, anger and irritability, and attacks of severe drowsiness. It seemed to be causing weight gain as well. I don't know how much of it was due to the pramipexole, but evidence suggests much of it was. Then of course, tapering off was not fun at all. Like all drugs for me, small amounts produced rather profound changes and dosage changes almost always induced instability. I never got up to more than 3/8mg.
