Free T4 doesn't really mean much without being able to compare it to Total T4, and to calculate the difference which is ReverseT4. The antibodies are also important in any thyroid test, but often overlooked.
Insulin resistance, thyroid, adrenal...all stuff that could be at play here, and all hard to diagnose by lab. It's really a trial and error thing with lab tests basically providing hunches or clues but not definitive answers.
On your test results, if you were to plot them on a graph, I notice the TSH level is far to the left on a graph, while the other values are way toward the middle. Actually just looking at the numerical values within the reference ranges they gave you shows the same pattern.
I'm not well schooled on this topic but did spend some time researching thyroid and adrenal issues. The basic message I got was that the numbers should all be balanced within their ranges without any being skewed way far left or far right, and that symptoms are more important than numbers when making a diagnosis.
Without TotalT4, it is hard to see the whole picture.
