I have not seen any scientific evidence to back this up and I'm not sure if it will help with lithium toxicity as it is suggested, but supplementing with things like fish oil, flax or chia seed, and vitamin E surely will not hurt you, so, it's worth a try.
Read the last few paragraphs:
Personally, I think everyone with depression, bipolar, anxiety/OCD or any mental illness should try taking a low dose of lithium everyday. Why not? Also, anyone over 40 should consider it for neuroprotective reasons.
