I know what you mean. Maybe you need a drug like luvox that isn't such a potent reuptake inhibitor. Lexapro binds very potently and is the most selective SSRI. I believe Luvox is fairly weak. Never tried it myself so I can't say the effect it would have. However I did find that lexapro also distorted my thoughts in that I felt spacey and out of it. Even pristiq is doing it. Some people just don't respond that great to drugs that are completely pro-serotonergic.
