Hi everyone,
Maybe I can help someone avoid the bad experience I had with antidepressants.
I wish I never took anti-depressants in 1994- I was barely depressed at the time, and was only taking them upon a recommendation of a roommate and an idiot doctor The anti-depressants caused me to become manic and induced a borderline psychosis. I was only taking them for around 4 months, but their affect lasted for years.
I ended up on Zyprexa in 2001 as a result. So please consider things like improving your environment, improving your relationships, and of course prayer, before resorting to Prozac, Desipramine, or other anti-depressants. These pills can be very harmful to the brain and create problems worse than what they are designed to treat. Anti-depressants are especially dangerous for Bi-Polars who have to worry about induced manic episodes.
