Interesting that fluoxetine prevented releapse better than lithium (and that lithium was no more effective than placebo).
Seems to run counter to this notion that antidepressants are best to avoid in BPII.
Fluoxetine would also be theoretically less impairing than lithium.
I know I'd rather be on fluoxetine than lithium.
